Trippy Trip 10/28/18

Another Earshot Jazz spectacular. Opens with a Wayne Horvitz concerto performed by the These Hills of Glory String Quartet with clarinetist, Beth Fleenor. And followed by Circuit Rider: Ron Miles, Brian Blade, and Bill Frisell. Both brought the audience standing after each performance.

Looked for open restaurants after. Succeeded on my third try. My Jack in the Box Bleu Cheese and Ribeye was delicious. Awesome for a fast food chain.

Waking up to a very foggy day, the wife and I drive around the neighborhood to document it. After which I turn into a driving instructor as Bobbet takes the wheel to Bothell, Lake City, and West Seattle. Oh, I had a Red Mill Bleu Cheese and Bacon Burger at noon.

A tiny toke and my phone’s camera gets busy. It starts with the color of the fallen leaves. Then I take the bus downtown and go up the observatories of the Smith Tower and the Columbia Center. Awesome views there! I also check out the futuristic Public Library.

Trippy Trip 10/22/18

The Ladenheims drive us to San Francisco and we take the Japanese Tea Garden Tour. Back in Los Altos, we play bridge and have a pizza dinner before heading to the San Jose Airport for our flight back to a surprisingly foggy Seattle.

Trippy Trip 10/21/18

Mati drives us to Carmel for breakfast, then we hike the trails of Point Lobos, take many stops along the 17 Mile Drive before lunching at the Pebble Beach Golf Links.

She then takes us to the Monterey Aquarium which was absolutely awesome.
